Dry ice pellets are small, cylindrical pieces of solid carbon dioxide (CO₂) that are extremely cold, at a temperature of -78.5°C (-109.3°F). Unlike regular ice, they do not melt into a liquid but sublimate directly into gas, making them ideal for creating dramatic fog effects or conducting exciting science experiments. Their compact size and intense cold make them a popular choice for hands-on demonstrations, refrigeration, and creative activities like making bubbling potions or frosty smoke clouds. Dry ice pellets must be handled with care using gloves or tools to avoid frostbite.
